Review of Tuesdays with Morrie (1999) by Florence L — 18 May 2009
Watched it in English class. We thought it'd be a drag when we saw the DVD cover. As soon as Oprah started talking, we knew we were wrong. TV movies are never my thing, but unlike the typical TV movies, Tuesdays With Morrie is smart and thought-provoking, it didn't dumb itself down so as to reach a wider audience.
All-in-all, Tuesdays With Morrie is touching and gives great moral lessons. The only problem is with the pacing. I can't complain though, Tuesdays With Morrie has great quotes! The fact that we got a copy of all the memorable quotes (for our essay) made them even better.
