Perhaps no film captures the spirit of a man in pursuit of the American dream better then Tucker-The Man and His Dream. Jeff Bridges is fantastic as the title character. I have always loved the design of the Tucker automobiles, so this film really caught my eye.
It is sad watching this film in retrospect to how the auto industry has changed today. This film is an homage to a different time in America. Sadly, Tucker was a far better dreamer then he was a business man.
Watch for Dean Stockwell as Howard Hughes! This is honestly an underrated classic. Recommended for car buffs and drama lovers.
