Review of Tucker and Dale vs. Evil (2010) by Colleen M — 09 Feb 2015
Tucker & Dale vs Evil is a great movie about dry humour resulting from mis-communication. It is a creative blend of comedy and horror, turning around on stereotypes whilst using them. Going against cliches and predictability, there are many interesting scenes seemingly formed by accident.
Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine are perfect in this movie, showing off two sides of characters from two different angles. Their camaraderie and on-screen chemistry is what helps form this movie into something memorable.
The on-going "wrong time wrong place" joke works perfectly here, and Tucker & Dale vs Evil is a true light-hearted show of genius.
