Review of Tucker and Dale vs. Evil (2010) by Wendy W — 28 Jun 2012
A horror-comedy that manages to do something unique within the genre: not be annoying.
Creative, funny and is portrayed by fun characters you don't necessarily wish would all die from the start, which seems to be the characterization most horror-movies aim for these days.
The slapstick is funny and frenetic without ever necessarily being mean-spirited, and there's even an agreeable moral to this modern horror-fable.
A blast to watch from beginning to end and something that offers a satisfying conclusion, I highly recommend it to everyone even remotely interested.
Heck, I wouldn't even mind if they made a sequel.
