If this movie were in Gordon Ramsay's kitchen, he would look at it and say "Tucker and Dale get over here now!" (with dramatic music and fading to a commercial) leading you to believe that they were in trouble for making a horror comedy.
But once they come back from commercial there would be a "well done".
