Review of Tucker and Dale vs. Evil (2010) by Stephen C — 20 Aug 2014
If like me you have seen plenty of teens go to a cabin and get slaughtered movies such as Friday the 13th and the Evil dead.
Tucker and Dale v evil is a funny horror comedy which turns the genre on its head.
Tucker and Dale are two well meaning hillbilly's who have taken possession of an old log cabin in the woods.
They are determined to fix the cabin up but unfortunately some teens have arrived to have a party and Tucker and Dale are unwittingly watching teens kills them selves by accident all over there property.
The fun part of the film is that it the teens who are a bit stupid and dumb Tucker and Dale are pretty nice guys and the deaths are usually due to accidents they have caused.
These involve chainsaws ,plant shredders and all the other weapons you would associate with slasher movies.
The pace is pitch perfect and of course the surviving girl is clever and smart while all here friends are complete bozos.
A smart and clever little horror film with plenty of wit and imagination.
