Review of Tuck Everlasting (2002) by Victor L — 18 Mar 2008
:rotten: Tuck Everlasting tells us a story about one of the biggest ambitions of men: live forever, but they do it on a very untouching, uninvolving and crazy way... I just didn't believe a word of what they say, I didn't feel any emotion from them and the message at the end of the movie was insipid.
.. I mean it was so wise that it had nothing to do with the rest of the film that didn't succeed on transmiting us the same feeling. Now, I don't have any doubt why this picture, being a Walt Disney's one failed at the box office and nowadays, nobody talks about it.
William Hurt, Sissy Spacek and Ben Kingsley are the finest thing this stuff has, but they are such a big piece to be wasted in this mediocre work..
