Review of Tuck Everlasting (2002) by Mandy D — 19 Nov 2008

I was a huge fan of this book when I was little. The story was told well with the proper amount of detail. This was a poor adaptation of a great story. It gave it all away too quickly with very little explanation.

..it wasn't even 90 minutes! It was like they were keeping it short to keep the attention of a younger audience, but in doing so they lost some of the key, magical elements of the story. It's disappointing to me that people, especially children, will see this and then have no interest in reading the book.

The book is absolutely worth it. This movie is not.
