Review of Tuck Everlasting (2002) by Juan C — 17 Jun 2011

My 10 year old son cringed when I told him what movie came in. He had seen the ads and the big work up on the Disney channel and decided that this was a "chick flick" that he wasn't interested in.

My wife had read the book, so we convinced him to watch with the rest of the family. Turns out the movie is a quaint little love story with enough fantasy elements thrown in to entertain my son. We all thought it turned out to be worth our time.

So, with some heavy hitting actors (Hurt and Spacek) and a decent, somewhat involving story, this is a movie most families can enjoy.
