Review of Tsotsi (2005) by John F — 06 Apr 2008
It is not the best movie ever. Some things are kinda annoying here, like a lack of logic at times and exagerated characters. Even the protagonist is somehow repulsive himself. However, if we look closer at him, somehow behind the Presley Chweneyagaes's performance, we can participate in a really rather dramatic story of an unwanted child of the streets who, against his social status and in a certain circumstances felt an urge to belong to somebody.
There will be tears...
