Review of Tsotsi (2005) by Mark P — 06 Feb 2017
The "African City of God." Desolate landscapes of urban decay, morality that died a long time ago, "Tsotsi" is an examination of the huge differences small decisions can make. Presley Chweneyagae has an almost feminine allure in some scenes, but nearly everytime you expect his heart to have changed, he flings barbed wire from his mouth until the end.
Magnificently done.
