Review of Truth or Dare (2018) by Timmmmmy T — 16 Apr 2018
The movie Truth or Dare is a great movie that had different interesting aspects to it. I'm not the biggest fan of drama's or romance movies but the romance and drama in the movie blended so well with the story that it actually made it interesting to watch the movie.
On top of that the preconflict setup didn't take forever. There is nothing worse than when a movie promises to deliver something but doesn't even start trying until like half way through the movie.
There wasn't anything that felt out of place, and I wasn't telling myself the entire movie "why not just do this?". I will admit that I am not the biggest fan of horror movies and the biggest reason why, is that nothing rarely ever gets done.
9 times out of 10 your sitting there waiting for the story to progress. In conclusion Truth or Dare was an amazing movie that went at a reasonable pace, with suspense, drama, romance, and a clever mind game (where your thinking along with the character "how do they get out of this?", there was also a supernatural theme to it as well (If you couldn't tell from the smiles that would make The Joker jealous)).
