What a horribly cheesey ending... this was misleading as it promised to be a farily adult look at relationships in trendy parts of new york with interesting dinner banter and witty dialogue. instead, it was really just a silly romantic (hmmm maybe not even that) cringe-fest with some pretty one-dimentional characters with ridiculous foibles to make them a bit more "edgy" and poor plots aplenty.
gyllenhaal's bf was just a loser of the highest order and really they probably deserved each other because her second choice was a bit of a freakshow too... it must have been a slow time of year for gyllenhaal and moore to choose this film to make.
