Review of Trust the Man (2005) by Jonathan T — 31 Dec 2008
Semi-sophisticated comedy-drama about two semi-interesting couples' relationships deteriorating over time, with semi-suprising suprise ending... for a "character" movie, this film's characters are semi-lifeless with no character development, and the contrived semi-witty plot is semi-original at best.
.. but there is Julianne Moore, and Maggie Gyllenhaal has a great line in the final scene; David Duchovny picks up a paycheck and Billy Crdcop is the Ricky Martin of cinema.
