Review of Trust (2010) by Dawdlingpoet — 25 Nov 2021
This is a drama film with a good performance from Clive Owen (he plays the concerned/protective/angry dad very well) but its certainly a predictable plot. The dangers of younger people meeting up with people they 'discover' online has been made into numerous films.
This isn't a badly made one but it doesn't really offer anything new, content wise. It felt a bit more like a one off TV drama show than a film as such I suppose but it does have good performances and I suppose it treats the topic well enough.
If your very keen on Clive Owen, then I'd recommend this film but otherwise, I'm not sure.
