Plays like the adapted Sparknotes of Dalton Trumbo's life. The performances are fine and a few moments shine (most from Louis CK's criminally unsung role), but overall it feels like an extended sequence of bullet points.
Don't waste your time even if you're a fan of Bryan Cranston. 5.5/10.
