Review of Trumbo (2015) by Dan H — 17 Feb 2016
A messy film that switches between being over-the-top and serious. Bryan Cranston does a good job as Trumbo (Though I don't feel he deserved a Best Actor nom). The film does have a nice idea at it's center (Should a man be ridiculed and prosecuted for believing differently than others?), but the film feels more like a fluff piece than anything else, though it is about a very important event, it just doesn't feel important.
