Review of Trumbo (2015) by Matthew B — 28 Feb 2016
Surprised this one didn't garner more attention. Brian Cranston is one of the great actors of today and he is phenomenal in the title role of Dalton Trumbo. This movie gives great insight into what the feeling of the nation and especially of Hollywood was during the red scare of the 1950s.
As portrayed by an excellent cast, no one was safe from potential ruin during the witch hunt of this period where even a simple accusation could wreck one's life and turn a prince into a pauper overnight.
