Review of Trumbo (2015) by Nick P — 29 Feb 2016
Witty, intelligent, well acted, and unfortunately subject to the same treatment as "Good night and good luck" a few years earlier, nominated for an Oscar but was passed over by the Revenant. Maybe the topic is still symbolically too close to home for the movie industry: the blacklisting for the 40s and 50s has transformed into another blacklisting, the one described by Chris Rock during Oscar night.
.. Worth watching. Unlike the Revenant.
