Review of Trumbo (2015) by Jess_Hill — 16 Jul 2016
Magnificent performances, with a witty script, combined to create an excellent film that was beautifully paced and thoroughly engaging. Cranston was superb, and it was delightful seeing the eclectic ensemble cast engage with what is a shameful and prescient period of American history.
Whilst I was disappointed in some of the female roles, particularly Lane's, overall this was a polished and entertaining film. 8.
