Review of Trumbo (2015) by Steve S — 17 Feb 2016
The performance of Dalton Trumbo by Bryan Cranston is the reason to see this historical drama. The screenplay is interesting yet also overly manipulative. I love movies about old Hollywood, and this one throws around some big names in dramatic situations, but it is also overly simplein its approach.
Cranston, however, is dynamite.
