Review of Trumbo (2015) by Bill C — 15 Oct 2016
Cursory, almost cartoonish, treatment of the lethal fifties cocktail of McCarthyism, populism, political corruption and Hollywood angst that forced Johnny Rocco to sell the Van Gogh. Once again, Elia Kazan gets a free pass. Too cute by half.
