The subject matter offered potential to explore mob mentality, xenophobia, and racism, but instead spent much time in scenic backdrop and meandering conversation. I felt Cranston could have been stronger in the role, and perhaps less makeup and attempt to mimic Trumbo's delivery would have helped.
All in all, forgettable.
