Brilliant movie. Bryan Cranston gives a spectacular performance as Dalton Trumbo. Demonstrates the hypocrisy of the McCarthy witch hunt that saw people blacklisted and lives destroyed for no reason other than to drum up public paranoia to drive their political agenda.
Comes at an appropriate time given current events to remind the American public that they have learned little from their chequered history.
