Brian Cranston does a brilliant job portraying a creative, eccentric screen writer; a tragic victim of one of our most despicable periods. The film tells the sad story of what our government is capable of, but just as importantly how this remarkable man triumphed over his despicable treatment without ever giving up the principles he believed in.
