Review of Trumbo (2007) by Shelly W — 07 Apr 2017
With an incredible central performance by Bryan Cranston this biographical film not only looks at part of the life of Dalton Trumbo but also the dark and paranoid times which he lived in which not only impacted his life but many around him.
The rest of the cast is also great, the production is solid, the script and plot is engrossing, the score is well done and timely and although it is far from the deepest biopic out there it is nonetheless entertaining and thoroughly engrossing as it arouses emotions concerning the political and social atmosphere at the time and how deeply wrong it was.
