Review of Truly Madly Deeply (1991) by Paula P — 01 Jun 2008
This movie is a well-written, moving and emotional story of true love lost and brought back as Rickman's character returns from death to be with his true love. It can be comedic at one point and an emotional exercise in grief in the next moment.
"Ghost" it is not. It is thoughtfully done and sure to tug at your heart strings. Watch it with someone you love and be prepared to laugh and to cry. This beautiful movie has been at the top of my list since I first saw it many years ago.
