True romance is a dark romantic comedy, if you want to call it that, that is superbly directed by tony scott and brilliantly written by the man himself quentin tarantino. only tarantino could write a script like this.

the cast is phenomenal especially brad pitt who plays a memorable stoner. there is plenty of violence to go along with the chasing and the story is full of love, emotion, and just raw carnage. this is a high voltage thriller that has plenty of twists and turns.

aside from brat pitt, slater and arquette have great chemistry and they really have "true romance". and how can you forget christopher walken, I haven't seen a greater mob boss since the godfather.
