Review of True Romance (1993) by Morgan L — 04 Dec 2011
One of my favorite films. This was released before everybody got a bit bored of Tarantinos gangster lingo. I thought that the casting was excellent, perfect. Slater and Arquette never reached these heights again.
This was a film memorable for lots of small scenes with big actors playing small parts, I guess they were easily persueded to be part of the next big thing. It's funny to see James Gandolfini before the hair loss, weight gain, and italian accent lessons.
