Review of True Romance (1993) by Baurushan J — 07 Feb 2012

Directed by Tony Scott who directed Top Gun and Days of Thunder, added the Quentin Tarantino's special gritty script and a whole gallery of familar faces and favourites like Val Kilmer and Brad Pitt, True Romance lives up to shine at the top of the world.

Oh and here's a little advice to all you single boys out there. If you're suffering with no idea about how to get a girlfriend, see if this kinda boosts your confidence because True Romance is the true romance.

The story is about a guy named Clarence who is celebrating his birthday in the cinema he bumps into Alabama and it is love at first sight for them but it turns out that Alabama was set up by her boss Drexi to purposely bump into him.

To escape from Drexi, Clarence and Alabama go to California to live with Clarence's friend Mentor and takes away a suitcase thinking it has her clothes in it but instead has five million dollars worth of cocaine.

This unfortunately brings a whole group of underworld characters including a mob boss who wants the suitcase back that has his cocaine in it. I gotta tell you, this film has almost everything that a perfect romance story would that even if it's good, it's impossible to give it a good rating because it's been ages for me since I've seen a movie that was waaaaaaaaaaaay to good for me to give the film a 10/10.

True Romance gets a 9.9/10.
