Review of True Romance (1993) by Brian N — 25 Feb 2012
Its been a long time since I watched this film, but my love for it only gets stronger. This was the first Tarantino script made into a film and it doesn't disappoint. This is Christian Slater's and Patricia Arquette's greatest film.
This was the best film Tony Scott ever directed as well. The thing that really makes this film are all the great supporting roles played by such great actors, when else do you get a great scene performed by Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper together? Brad Pitt was my personal favorite though.
Not to mention, this film changed how I looked at "Perfect Strangers" forever as "Natural Born Killers" changed how I watched Cheers. If you haven't seen this yet, you should be ashamed of yourself, go watch it right now.
