It's a classic Tarantino, but oh, God, it's so '80s. The bluesy music, the jorts, the midwestern drawl, the extremely creepy resemblance Patricia Arquette has to Courtney Cox (serious mommy issues, David?) and a brilliant performance from Gary Oldman - it's good in a very 'this-is-awful' way.
Can't believe this came out just the year before Pulp Fiction - feels a decade older. Excellently, brutally, sadistically violent fight scenes, the McCools ending, and Christopher Walken awesomeness.
