Review of True Lies (1994) by Collette S — 17 Dec 2009
James Cameron made the Terminator films with Arnie, so when they teamed up for this one it was a bit obvious this would be good. And that it was, that it was. This is the best equivalent to an American James Bond you will ever get, the irony being it was made by an Canadian and an Austrian.
Its action packed, funny, well-casted, well directed and one of Schwarzeneggers best films. The shame is that it isn't truely appreciated, overshadowed by Cameron's unbelievable success with Titanic and Arnie's quick decline at the box office as we approached the 21st century.
