Review of True Lies (1994) by Rory D — 28 Apr 2010
If I'm being honest, I like this a fair bit better than most of Cameron's other works like Titanic; which tries to be something it isn't, or Aliens; which flips the middle finger to it's predecessor, and especially Avatar; which I think you know what I think about that.
True Lies, for all it's action ridiculousness, it is its own movie, and doesn't hide behind period design, heavy CGI, or chewed up plot lines. But I still don't like it that much. Man, how on earth did Cameron make the Terminators?
