Review of True Lies (1994) by Brandon W — 13 Apr 2015
It's nice to see James Cameron to do something different than his usual science fiction movies, and Trie Lies turn out to be a great film, even if it's not as grand as his Sci-Fi films. Arnold Schwarzenegger is great as usual, Jamie Lee Curtis is fantastic in this, and Tom Arnold is hilarious.
The writing is really good, it seems like only James Cameron can write great one-liners to Schwarzenegger, and it does create a lot of humorous moments. The action is exciting as usual from his movies, and the plot is really good, even though it's a bit absurd.
Compared to the other stuff he's done, it's not at the highest lengths like Terminator part 1 or 2, but at its own, True Lies is a very enjoyable film in a popcorn way that fans of Janes Cameron or Arnold Schwarzenegger won't be disappointed.
