Review of True Lies (1994) by Jason V — 07 May 2011
It's a good thing everyone in True Lies has a sense of humor about the events they find themselves in: this is an action comedy where each scene is more over the top than the last one. The story does meander a bit, running close to 2 1/2 hours, and loses Jamie Lee Curtis in the beginning.
A subplot with Bill Paxton is almost unnecessary...but hey...this is a summer action movie Hollywood just doesn't make anymore. Sit back, laugh and watch fictional people do wholly implausible things.
