Review of True Lies (1994) by Adam S — 27 Nov 2012
James Cameron has done a lot better than this film, but he's still a genius filmmaker and this shows even his relative failures are solid films.
At first, I wasn't sure what to make of this film, since the plotline takes a while to really come into focus, but once it was focused, it was most enjoyable, probably due to the chemistry between leads Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis.
This film will never be seen as a masterpiece, the way "Aliens", "Terminator", "Titanic" and "Avatar" are, but it's a fun movie which anyone can enjoy. Fair play once again, Mr Cameron!
