Superb movie, and one of the best westerns of all time. I cannot see how anyone can think the original was better. John Wayne was and is an American icon, but better than Bridges? Methinks not. The original was let down by Glen Campbell as LaBoeuf--Not a good choice for a singer in his first acting role.
Matt Damon nailed it. Bridges was SNUBBED and should have gotten the nomination and the OSCAR. Was everyone asleep? You could SMELL him, he had so much character. Love it!
