Review of True Grit (2010) by Evan G — 21 Apr 2013
As a lover of the original, I was sceptical at first. This one is a keeper though. Jeff Bridges does a great job of playing Rooster Cogburn, and not trying to play John Wayne as Rooster Cogburn. This girl is not the Maddie Ross that we all remember, but she does a pretty good job.
Glad to have both versions on my DVD shelf.
