Pretty well flawless Coen Bros film, with a plot that probably needs no explanation though I believe it is different from the John Wayne version and close to the original novel. Flawless performances all round and a fantastic soundtrack (The main theme is "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms" that features in an electrifying scene in "Night of the Hunter", a film which launched a dozen Coen films).
I guess my only minor gripe is with the advertising, Hailee Steinfield should be billed on the same level as the others, but that's not a fault with the film. Superb.
