Review of True Grit (2010) by Louie V — 15 Feb 2015
The film followed Portis' novel very closely, with language as one would imagine from the late 19th century. Bridges' performance as Rooster Cogburn was, in my opinion, his finest. Steinfeld shows up further down on the credits, but she was often a scene stealer.
I expect to see "True Grit" again before it leaves theatres.
