Nominated for 10 Oscars including Best Picture (didn't win any), "True Grit" is a magnificent Western directed by the great Coen Brothers (who were also nominated for Best Director)! Great performances, amazing scenery, & interesting/entertaining story (adapted from the 1968 novel by Charles Portis) have given "True Grit" a spot for being one of the greatest Westerns ever (next to "Unforgiven", "The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly", "Django Unchained", "Dances with Wolves", & "The Lone Ranger")!
