Review of True Crime (1999) by Conner R — 13 Nov 2010
It certainly was not bad but it was not good either, it just had one of those really generic feels for the longest while and it takes forever to get out of it. When it does get out of it, it's pretty damn good, it's intense, it's suspenseful especially the last scene.
The acting is pretty fair, Washington does a very good job and Eastwood says "No but if you tell me I'll come across the table and rip your throat out with your bare hands" so you get an idea of what he's like in this movie, himself.
Leary is good at being an asshole. And James Woods is pretty funny. Not a bad film, a little better than average.
