Review of True Confessions (1981) by Clint S — 25 Nov 2007
Great movie adaptation of the John Gregory Dunne novel on the Black Dahlia story. Both De Niro and Duvall are at their best here, as are almost all the supporting actors. There are some loose plot strands, but those actually fit pretty well with a story that's about the uses and misuses of power.
