A pretty interesting tale that is not as great as it should be...

Both Bob's are excellent. That's a given and they don't disappoint. The backdrop of the tale which involves the black dahlia murder case and corruption is really intuguing but the film never really delivers on it's promise. The story felt far more grand than what was portrayed and considering the flicks relatively short running time, this could have benefited from expanding the story and the history of these characters and their motivations.

This is good stuff but a bit of a missed opprtunity given the talent involved.
