Review of True Believer (1989) by Al P — 28 Apr 2010
James Woods rocks an insane ponytail as 80s engulfed 60s legal hero Eddie Dodd. And as usual, Woods is the reason to watch. The story is kinda typical courtroom fodder, but Woods' rekindled passion and Robert Downey Jr's bespectacled idealism keep the so-so plot watchable.
If you enjoyed Jagged Edge, The Verdict, or Presumed Innocent than you'll probably dig this as well. VF.
