Review of Troy (2004) by Niloo R — 10 May 2013
A very solid epic - definitely felt a bit like the "transformers for girls", with all the man-candy and chivalry, but I found that it was an enjoyable watch and still managed to convey a message about the devastating nature of war.
I cared about the characters (hector) and found that some scenes managed to be quite poignant. this is not a great film by any means- there is much that could be improved/further developed, but for what it was, it was entertaining and it was good.
