Review of Trouble with the Curve (2012) by James F — 06 Jun 2013
Although advertised as a baseball movie, it is really a father/daughter relationship flick following the well-worn path of a daughter dealing with abandonment issues. As ever superbly acted by Clint Eastwood, and Amy Adams delivers a reasonable performance although nothing outstanding.
The film's primary failing is that there is nothing outstanding or remarkable to make it worth seeking out, but if the opportunity arises it is possibly worth a couple of hours of your time, if nothing else is available.
