Review of Trouble with the Curve (2012) by Jeremy C — 02 Mar 2013
There was a good film in here, that the director or editor just didn't whittle down to. The first 39 minutes of the film could have been cut in half, or more, quite easily. It also did not make sense that a guy who has lived his entire life making a living off of his eyes would be so cavalier about his bad vision. His frequent temper tantrums didn't really make a lot of sense, either.
A lot of editing, getting to the "good stuff" where he and his daughter are going to baseball games, and more connectivity between the various stories (and more lead-up on some) would have been nice.
(V).
