Review of Trouble with the Curve (2012) by Max H — 01 Jan 2013
To be honest, I didn't feel that vibe. I didn't feel emotionally attracted to the relationship between Amy Adams's and Clint Eastwood's father and daughter problems. It just wasn't there as well it had the same vibe as Moneyball which had come before. I was a greater supporter for Moneyball. As for the cast, Clint Eastwood always has the personality of an old grumpy man that doesn't adapt to society and while he does a good job at it, it got old back when Gran Torino came out. Though Justin Timberlake did a good job. As for the plot, it was pretty predictable, arrogance has its consequences.
In the end Trouble With The Curve isn't a bad film compared to all the others in the market but it goes back to the same premise as Moneyball, so it's basically going back where others have already been.
